RevenueHits aims to maintain a decent, respectable business. RevenueHits publishers should avoid any of the following:
- Place tags that haven't been specifically approved for participation in the RevenueHits.com Network on any Publisher Website. Please note that RevenueHits.com may approve additional Publisher Pages or Publisher Websites in writing (email being sufficient) in its sole discretion.
- Alter, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, transfer, or otherwise make available the Network Tags, Creatives or any copies of them to any third party, or create derivative works from them.
- Copy the Network Tags or Creatives for a purpose other than the performance of this Agreement, for backup, archival or disaster recovery.
In addition, RevenueHits publishers shall not:
- Place Network Tags on blank web pages or on web pages with no content; clutter Creatives (e.g. place banners on top of one another, so that more than 2 ads are next to each other), or place Creatives in a fashion that may be deceptive to the visitor in that it causes the Creatives to look like editorial content.
- Serve Creatives from any location other than the RevenueHits.com server. Images loaded from a different location will not count towards any statistic or payment.
Lastly, RevenueHits publishers' must avoid the following tactics:
- Induce persons to click on Creatives based on incentives (e.g. rewards programs).
- Use unsolicited email to promote Creatives.
- Use auto-spawning browsers, or automatic redirection of visitors, blind text links, misleading links, forced clicks (i.e. requiring a visitor to click on a Creative because their browser has been hijacked, or because a Creative has been altered so that it's impossible to close without clicking it); or any other method that may lead to artificially high numbers of delivered clicks.
